1  What are the rules when setting my Hik-connect verification code for either front end or back end device ?

Your verifiaction code can be between 6 to 12 digitas long and can contain lower or upper case letters as well as number digits 0 to 9.

2  Does the Hik-Connect connection service support a DDNS facility?

Yes, when you register a device on Hik-connect it will automaticallt set up a DDNS service using the devices serial number as the domain name, you can edit the domain name within you account settings and connect to the device using the DEVICE tab at the bottom of your hik-connect app. Remember to open the ports in your router for the DDNS facility to work.
